Olivia Top | Crochet Pattern
The Olivia Top is an intermediate-level crochet pattern featuring a mix of lace and solid textures. It’s worked top-down with a square yoke, creating a structured yet smooth fit. The sleeves have a delicate lace pattern, while the body is made up of simple double crochet stitches for a clean, modern look. The sleeves and edging are added at the end.
The pattern includes nine sizes (XS–5XL) and allows you to customize the length of both the sleeves and body to match your style. Whether you prefer a solid color or want to experiment with different shades, the choice is yours! Edging is optional—ribbing instructions are provided, but many testers opted for their favorite edging styles for the neckline, hem, and sleeves.
For the best results, I recommend using sport (weight 2) or light DK (weight 3) yarn. Avoid 100% acrylic, as it tends to stretch and can change the final fit of your garment. The suggested hook size is 4.50 mm.
This pattern is tested by 23 crocheters of different sizes and body types. Please check the testers’ photos to see their versions of the Olivia Top with different color palettes and fitting options.
